Well it's been 7 weeks since Jacob has been born.... and they have been trying to say the least. the days have been long and the hospital trips many. I had finally had enough of doctors not seeming to care when I tracked down "Dr. Heather" and asked her to help us. as it turns out, she did. with a mere couple of hours we had a good idea of what was making poor Jacob so sick. and with in a few days... we now have a completely changed little boy. turns out he needed a blood transfusion. we still have many more doctors to go to. but things are finally looking up. Thanks Heather.

 Everyone always wants to know as soon as I step out of the door with Jacob..."how many days is he? " they seem shocked when I start thinking and announce ... weeks... I Think?  how in the world are you supposed to keep track? and do you just count how many Sundays have rolled by and count the foruth sunday as a month? or do you count the days  and divide by 7? well if you count the sundays he will be six weeks tomorrow. if you count the days he is 42 days old today... which divided by 7 means he is 6 weeks old today.

Either way... Jacob for all purposes is six weeks old today.
